What is Ctrl + Shift + D in Premiere Pro?

Ctrl + Shift + D (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + D (Mac) is the keyboard shortcut for “Apply Audio Transition” in Adobe Premiere Pro. This shortcut is used to apply an audio transition to the selected audio clips.

An audio transition is a smooth transition between two audio clips. It can be used to fade in or out an audio clip, crossfade between two audio clips, or add other effects.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when using this shortcut:

  • If you have not selected any audio clips, the shortcut will have no effect.
  • If you have selected some audio clips but not all of them, the transition will only be applied to the selected audio clips.
  • If you have already applied an audio transition to the selected audio clips, the shortcut will not apply another audio transition.
